Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has named an assistant secretary to a UK junior minister (Whitehall), Olajumoke Gafar, as his principal private secretary.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, said this in a statement on Tuesday.
He said, “Olajumoke was until her appointment the assistant private secretary to a minister in the Whitehall where the appointee, among other things, had the responsibility of seeing that the minister was on top of major policy areas in the top official’s portfolio and that he effectively discharged his corporate responsibilities.”
The statement also said that Olajumoke also had some work experience in Nigeria, adding that she was corporate services manager at the Taleveras Group Limited in Abuja and a legal associate at the Olujimi and Akeredolu Legal Practitioners, Abuja.
