THE DISTANCE FROM A CUSTODIAL CENTER (PRISONS) WITHIN WHICH NO BUILDING IS ALLOWED IN NIGERIA.

Prisons in Nigeria are now known as Custodial Centers since 2019, following the enactment of the Nigerian Correctional Service Act, 2019.

By the said law, no structure can be erected within 100 meters of the outer limit of any custodial centre land as designated by the beacon in the survey plan in Nigeria.

My authority is section 9 of the Nigerian Correctional Service Act, 2019.
