FORFEITURE OF PASSPORT FOR BEING IN POSSESSION OF COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY.
In Nigeria, it is an offence to falsely make or counterfeit any currency resembling the Nigerian legal tender or that of any other country.
The passport of any person convicted for this offence shall be forfeited to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and shall not be released to him until after 10 years.
PENALTY
Life Imprisonment.
