Valentine Obienyem, the media aide to the vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February poll, Peter Obi, has denied the rumours that his principal was denied US visa.

He said Obi is currently in the United State.
It was reported that Obi had been denied US visa over alleged corruption.
But Obienyem in the statement on Saturday said the report was meant to attack the ex-governor.
He said, “As I write, Obi is in the USA now at the invitation of highly-placed officials.
“Ironically these are the officials that were supposed to have denied him visa application.”
Describing Obi as a great leader, Obienyem said, “Since he left government, his records which nobody is even trying to surpass, still speak for him”.
