The Committee on Justice Sector appointed by the governor of the state is requesting for formal Memoranda on the justice sector which includes High Courts, Customary Court of Appeal, Magistrate Courts, the police, prisons, Ministry of Lands and Ministry of Justice.

This is contained in a letter addressed to the Chairman, Nsukka Bar Association, Enugu State dated 2nd July 2019.

According to the said letter which is signed by the Solicitor General of the state, V. C. Emeribe, Esq. and made available to TheNigeraLawyer (TNL) the Memorandum shall include any or more of the following:

a. Shortcomings of the justice sector,
b. Recommendations of how to move the justice sector forward
c. Any amendments in the laws of Enugu State or any other law in force in the state.
d. Any recommendations to the Rules of Rules and Procedure Courts to enhance Civil and Criminal Justice Delivery in the state
e. Any other recommendation to the justice delivery.
