Ogun State Chief Judge Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu has urged members of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) to be cautious of legacies they intend to leave behind, especially at the end of their sojourn on earth and on the job.

She gave this advice at the Valedictory Court Sitting for the late Justice Albert Gbadebo Oduyemi (JCA) at Ceremonial Court Room of the High Court, Isabo, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Justice Dipeolu said Ogun State has lost an industrious, reliable, dependable and one of the big icons in legal circle, noting that the judge was an incorruptible and upright jurist, who during his time delivered justice with sound intellect and exemplary character.

She said the late Justice Oduyemi’s wealth of experience would be highly missed by the state government, Nigeria, members of bar and bench in general.

According to the Chief Judge, the late jurist served the nation, in particular Ogun State, diligently and without blemishes.

Ogun State Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Mrs. Yetunde Oresanya, also described the late Justice Oduyemi as an intelligent officer that had the capacity for analytical details, dependable, loyal and also has mental stability.

He added that as a judge, he exhibited a proper judicial temperament, noting that his lordship belonged to the conventional school who upheld rigidly the ethics of the profession.
