Justice Everyman Eleanya of a Jikwoyi Customary Court, Abuja, on Friday said he would not continue with a divorce proceeding filed by Mr Jonah Kaka, against his wife, Miracle, because he refused to obey her order.

In her ruling, Justice Eleanya, said, “At the last adjourned date, the petitioner was ordered to return the children to Miracle.

“The petitioner has not done so. Therefore, this proceeding cannot continue.”

The judge admonished the petitioner, saying, “You can not keep the children away from their mother, except the court says otherwise.

“If you want the case to continue, then you must bring back the children.

“Moreover, you have to bring the children back to their mother, so they can go back to school”.

He then adjourned the case until May 30.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the petitioner is seeking divorce over alleged infidelity.
