The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje will be turbaning four persons he appointed for the new first class emirs for Kano despite court order restraining him from doing so.

The turbaning ceremony is slated to take place on Saturday 11 May, at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, Kano, TheNigerialawyer gathered.

Radio Kano has been airing Public Service announcement inviting the citizenry to the ceremony scheduled for 11.00 am.

The persons and their designated offices are 

1. Emir of  Gaya  – Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulkadir Gaya

2. Emir of Rano – Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila

3. Emir of  Karaye – Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim ll

4. Emir of  Bichi  – Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero

Recall that the Kano State High Court on friday, granted an order restraining Governor Abdullahi Ganduje from implementing the breakup of Kano Emirate.
