The Red Cross Society Kwara State branch, has once again honoured Chief R. O. Balogun.

Chief Rafiu Oyeyemi Balogun was honoured as part of the event marking the 2nd R. O. Balogun First Aid Quiz competition.

According to the information gathered by TheNigerialawyer (TNL), the former NBA National Legal Adviser was honoured for his generosity and selfless service to humanity.

The event also witnessed the kick-off of the 2nd R. O. BALOGUN first aid quiz competition among schools in Kwara State.

Chief Balogun was born in Kwara State.

He got admitted into the University of Ilorin in 1993 to study law. After he bagged his LL.B certificate, he served with the erudite Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Yusuf Olaolu Ali, as a Youth Corper after which he was retained. After years of practice, he established his chambers, R.O Balogun in February, 2007, with the head office in Ilorin.

He was the Secretary of the NBA, Ilorin branch between 2009-2011. He was elected chairman of the branch and served from 2011 to 2013.

Cheif Balogun has been eulogized as one who preaches peace, love, and unify. He is a man of worth indeed.
