The prosecutor, Insp. Cousin Adams, told the court that the defendant, Joshua Usulor, committed the offence on Jan. 26, about 5.35pm at a hotel in Opebi. He alleged that Usulor slit the throat of one Feyisayo Obot, 34, a lawyer, with a knife after robbing her. Adams said that the deceased had traveled to Lagos to write her professional exam. When the matter was called, Magistrate A. Kusanu ordered that Usulor be remanded in Ikoyi Prison, pending the outcome of legal advice and adjourned the case until April 10. (NAN)]]>
