I am so disturbed and troubled about my beloved country, Nigeria. The killings in Nigeria are more than those in Somalia, Sudan and Syria. Are we in another civil war in this country? I am not interested in knowing the names of the murderers, the identity of the murderers is not my concern. They can be Fulani herdsmen, Boko Haram etc. my worry is, what is the Federal Government doing to stop the killings? Any Government that cannot protect the lives and properties of its citizenry is a failed Government. I am not unaware that people are taking advantage of herdsmen attacks to commit their own atrocities. Government has to make a convincing statement against this carnage and take proactive steps to prevent future occurrence. The recent killings in Plateau state have put every reasonable Nigerians in mourning state. We, the elites of this country must speak out in defense of our country, our children, and our children yet unborn. I urge the Federal Government not to allow this incident to repeat itself in any state of this country.
