The Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Kazeem Alogba, will on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, swear in 50 newly appointed Notaries Public in a ceremony aimed at strengthening the legal system and enhancing access to certified legal documentation.

The announcement was made in a statement by the Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Kayode Agbedejobi, Esq., confirming that the swearing-in will take place at 12 noon in the Honourable Chief Judge’s Courtroom, High Court of Lagos State, Ikeja Judicial Division.

According to the statement, the appointments reflect the judiciary’s commitment to expanding the pool of legal practitioners authorized to perform crucial functions such as the authentication of documents, administration of oaths, and witnessing of signatures — all vital for both local and international legal transactions.
