2022 AGC: NBA Publishes Registration Categories And Details For Annual Conference

*Early Registration To Run From 12th June to 17th July, 2022;
*Regular Registration, 18th July to 5th August; Late Registration, 6th to 12th of August.

The Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) is set to hold her annual general conference tagged “Bold Transitions” from the 19th – 26th, August 2022 at Eko Atlantic city. In a bid to facilitate the registration of interested participants of the event, NBA has announced the official registration fees of the different categories of participants as well as differentiates dates and fees that will qualify as early, regular and late registration. The fees were also differentiated on the basis of physical presence and virtual.

According to the official flier made available to TheNigeriaLawyer and released by the NBA, the Early Bird Registration (IN PERSON) shall last from the 12th June-17th July, 2022, while Regular Registration (IN PERSON) will last from 18th July-5th August 2022, and then Late Registration (IN PERSON) will last from 6th-12th August 2022. Virtual Registration will be on from 12th June-12th August 2022.

The various fees for the different categories under the different stages of registration according to the list reads thus:

1. 1-5 years: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON (N15,000): Regular Registration -IN PERSON (N40,000): Late Registration -IN PERSON ( N80,000): Virtual Registration ( N5,000).

2. 6-10 years: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON (N22,000): Regular Registration -IN PERSON (N60,000): Late Registration -IN PERSON (N120,000): Virtual Registration (N10,000).

3. 11-15 years: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON (N36,000): Regular Registration -IN PERSON (N70,000): Late Registration -IN PERSON (N140,000): Virtual Registration (N15,000).

4. 16-20 years: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON (N54,000): Regular Registration -IN PERSON (N80,000): Late Registration -IN PERSON (N180,000): Virtual Registration (N20,000).

5. Above 20 years: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON (N95,000): Regular Registration -IN PERSON (N150,000): Late Registration -IN PERSON (N300,000): Virtual Registration (N50,000).

6. Senior Advocates/Attorneys General/Benchers: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON (N190,000): Regular Registration -IN PERSON (N300,000): Late Registration -IN PERSON (N500,000): Virtual Registration (N50,000).

7. Magistrates/Other Judicial Officers: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON (N50,000): Regular Registration -IN PERSON (N50,000): Late Registration -IN PERSON (N50,000): Virtual Registration (N20,000).

8. Honorable Justice/ Honorable Judges/Grand Khadis/Khadis: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON (N75,000): Regular Registration -IN PERSON (N75,000): Late Registration -IN PERSON (N75,000): Virtual Registration (N25,000).

9. Non-Lawyers: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON (N100,000): Regular Registration -IN PERSON (N100,000): Late Registration -IN PERSON (N100,000): Virtual Registration (N30,000).

10. International Delegates: Early Bird Registration-IN PERSON ($300): Regular Registration -IN PERSON ($300): Late Registration -IN PERSON ($300): Virtual Registration ($100).
