*Says The Website Will Be Rectified Within 24 Hours

The Convener of the 2021 Esq Nigeria Legal Awards, Lere Fashola, has apologized for the inability to access the website of the organization for the purpose of voting.

Fashola, in a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer, said the problem was due to high traffic.

“We sincerely apologize for the inability to access the Nigeria Legal Awards website. We are working round the clock with our engineers and host to resolve the issue. We believe our hosts never anticipated the volume of traffic to the website at the same time and as a result of this, we experienced a downtime.” Fashola said.

She assured that the issue will be rectified within 24 hours and voting will resume. She also assured that the voting will be extended to make up for the delay

She said, “Kindly be assured of the integrity of the voting process as the voting platform remains intact. Our website will be rectified in 24hrs and we will announce the resumption of the voting process.

“However, due to the website issues, voting will be extended to make up for the delays

“We will be back shortly and voting will also resume.

We appreciate your concerns and patience.”
