A 20-year-old girl, Beauty Ngegbarane, who was declared missing on December 25th, 2020, has been found dead in Ahoada, in Ahaoda Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Beauty was said to have informed her parents of her planned visit to her pastor friend, Sodje Masodje, on December 25th , 2020.
The deceased’s elder sister, Victoria Ngegbarane, who confirmed the incident in a video she sent to reporters in Port Harcourt, said that her sister left the house on December 25th to Pastor Masodje’s house only for the Pastor to call the family two days after to ask about her sister.
Victoria said that the family became worried that the pastor whom the deceased said she was visiting was the one calling to ask about her.
She said that the deceased’s body was found at a mortuary in Ahaoda, saying that the mortuary management said that her corpse was brought in on Dec. 26 and that she was involved in a car accident.
Victoria Ngegbarane stated that the pastor has a question to answer about the death of her sister.
She added that the pastor had dated the deceased for several years and that the former had on two occasions given her sister some money to commit abortion.
When contacted, the Rivers State Police Command Public Relation Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, pleaded for time to confirm the story.
