As it winds down its proceedings, the Yobe State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja, has ordered disputing parties to file their final written addresses by September 22.
Justice Mojisola Dada, who announced the end of trial in the petition, ordered the APC to file its address within seven days.
The judge also ordered the petitioners, the PDP to file and reply to the address within seven days.
She gave another three days for the APC to reply on points of law.
Adamu Maina Waziri of the PDP petitioned the election of Governor Ibrahim Gaidam of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the grounds of widespread violence and irregularities in the election.
The proceedings ended Friday even though the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Abu Zarma, and the Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the governor, Zakari Deba, did not testify over allegations of N15 million bribe made against the REC.
