Leading legal practitioners, A. J. Offiah, SAN, FCArb, Ikechukwu Onuoma, SAN, and Nnezi Ivenso, FCArb, have extended a warm goodwill message to the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) ahead of its Annual General Conference scheduled to hold in Enugu State from August 22 to 30, 2025.

In the message addressed to the President, National Officers, and members of the NBA, the legal luminaries described the gathering as “a pivotal moment for professional introspection, intellectual cross-fertilization, and the charting of a progressive course for the legal profession and our nation.”

They expressed confidence that the conference would be marked by “robust deliberations, innovative legal scholarship, and the strengthening of professional camaraderie,” adding that resolutions reached at the event would “serve as catalysts for fortifying the pillars of justice, upholding the rule of law, and advancing the cause of national development.”

The trio also encouraged delegates to explore Enugu, noting that the state’s “serenity, verdant rolling hills, and the enduring warmth of its people” would provide a conducive backdrop for reflection and fellowship. They highlighted the “legendary hospitality and peaceful ambiance of the Coal City” as elements that would enrich participants’ experience beyond the conference halls.

Concluding their message, Offiah, Onuoma, and Ivenso wished the NBA a “most successful, impactful, and memorable Annual General Conference,” praying for safe journeys for all attendees.
