In the last few weeks, many States in Nigeria have been ravaged by severe flooding crises which has reportedly left over 600 persons dead and about 2million displaced.
Bayelsa State in South-South Nigeria is one of the States that has suffered immensely from the ravaging floods with all of the State’s eight local government areas currently under water displacing about 700,000 persons according to the State Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Iselema Gbaranbiri.
As the State battles the effects of crisis, the Nigerian law school has not been left unaffected.
In a video now trending online, the Yenagoa campus of the Nigerian Law School was seen submerged in water necessitating the use of a canoe to move around its premises.
In the video, a man in the canoe was heard pointing at the administrative building, the library and the health centre and laughed about them been covered in water.
