The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says all candidates who registered for the 2026 unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME) can now proceed to print their examination notification slips.

In a statement on Thursday, Fabian Benjamin, JAMB spokesperson, said the examination is scheduled to commence from Thursday, April 16.

“Candidates are strongly advised to print their examination slips in order to confirm their examination date, venue, and time, as the exercise will be conducted over several days,” the statement reads.

“To print the examination slip, candidates should visit the Board’s website at https://www.jamb.gov.ng
and click on 2026 UTME Slip Printing.

“Each candidate has been assigned a specific schedule on the notification slip, which enables the candidate to arrive at the centre well ahead of examination time to allow for proper screening and accreditation before the commencement of the examination.”

Benjamin added that this year’s examination features enhanced security measures designed to curb all forms of malpractice.

“Candidates and centre owners are therefore warned to desist from any form of misconduct, as strict sanctions will be applied,” he added.

JAMB had, on March 31, released the results of the 2026 UTME mock examination held across 989 computer-based test (CBT) centres nationwide.

The board delisted 20 CBT centres over “technical inaccuracies” that marred the examination in some parts of the country.
