Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq., a Past National Officer of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), has urged lawyers attending this year’s Annual General Conference (AGC) in Enugu State to embody courage, integrity, and excellence in their professional and societal duties.

In a statement titled “Stand Out, Stand Tall!”, Ohagba extended congratulations to NBA President Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN, the Annual General Conference Planning Committee led by High Chief Sir Emeka J. P. Obegolu, the Local Organising Committee chaired by Ikeazor Akaraiwe, SAN, and all conferees participating in the conference.

He described the AGC theme, “STAND OUT, STAND TALL!”, as a clarion call for Nigerian lawyers to rise above contemporary challenges, strengthen their commitment to the rule of law, and champion social justice with courage and boldness.

Highlighting the presence of globally renowned resource persons at the conference, Ohagba said the event promises to inspire participants, elevate legal practice, and foster a lasting legacy of unity, excellence, and dedication within the profession.

He wished all attendees safe travels and a productive, enlightening conference, urging them to embrace the theme by standing out and standing tall in all their endeavors.
