As the countdown continues to the 2025 Annual General Conference (AGC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Conference Planning Committee (CPC) has announced that distribution of conference bags and souvenirs to branches across the country will commence on Monday, July 28, 2025.

The CPC assured delegates that the materials will be delivered to their respective NBA branches ahead of their departure for the conference, ensuring that all registered participants receive their bags and souvenirs seamlessly.

“In line with our resolution at the Committee level, the bags with the souvenirs will be dispatched to the various branches of the NBA starting Monday, 28th July. This is to ensure they reach the conference delegates before they set off for Enugu,” the CPC stated.

The NBA President, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, alongside members of the CPC, had earlier inspected and received the first batch of the official conference bags in Abuja on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, signaling the readiness of the Association for Africa’s largest gathering of lawyers.

The 2025 AGC is scheduled to hold from August 22 to 29, 2025, at the International Conference Centre, Enugu, and features a packed agenda including registration, religious services, plenary sessions, breakout panels, UNBARRED, the NBA Annual General Meeting, and the President’s Dinner.

With the theme “Stand Out, Stand Tall,” the 2025 AGC promises to be a unique convergence of legal minds committed to professional excellence, innovation, and institutional reform.

Lawyers who are yet to complete their registration are urged to do so before the August 22 late registration deadline, as the CPC intensifies logistical arrangements ahead of the landmark event.
