Popular skit maker, Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, popularly called Trinity Guy, has regained freedom from prison.

His release was confirmed by a close associate — Abdugalfar Abiola, popularly known as Cute Abiola, in a terse message.

Recall that police had invited the skit maker in connection with a prank video that involved a minor.

Thereafter, a Family Court sitting at Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State, ordered his remand to Agodi correctional facility.

Alongside the entertainer, the court also remanded the parents of the minor, Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and his wife, Rofiat Ahmed, 29.

Confirming his release Cute Abiola said: “Trinity is finally free on Bail. I am wishing you all the best brother.

“May Almighty Allah keep guiding you to the right path. Amen welcome back ! Welcome back ! My guy don pray tire see him forehead”

Earlier, Inspector Oluwakemi Arowosaye, the prosecution counsel, informed the court that the trio planned to sexually abuse the girl jointly.

Arowosaye said that on December 17, 2022, “Trinity” sexually abused and exploited the girl in the Kuolaa neighborhood of Ibadan.

“Abdullahi was asking the victim the colour of his penis, recording the scene and posting it on social media,” she said.

She claimed that the offenses violated Section 35 (1) of the Oyo State Child Rights Law, 2006 and are penalized in accordance with Section 35 (2).

Arowosaye claimed that Section 516 of the Oyo State Criminal Code Laws from 2000 was also violated by the offenses.

The Child Rights Law of 2006 stipulates that the sketch creator faces a 15-year prison sentence if he is proven guilty of the crime.
