The Iloakasia Chienwa Family of Abor Ivite, Aguleri, in Anambra East Local Government Area, has announced with deep sorrow the tragic and untimely death of their beloved son, husband, brother, uncle, and father, Chief Barr. Ifeanyi Emmanuel Iloakasia, fondly known as Rolex.

Barr. Iloakasia, who until his death served as the President General of the Aguleri Community Assembly (ACA), passed away on May 15, 2025, at the age of 48.

A distinguished legal practitioner and respected community leader, Iloakasia’s death has plunged the Aguleri community and the legal fraternity into mourning.

A series of obsequies have been scheduled to honour his life and legacy:

  • Friday, July 18, 2025 (8:00AM): Court Session in his honour at the High Court of Justice, Otuocha
  • Friday, July 18, 2025 (4:00PM): Service of Songs/Night of Tributes at St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Ngozika Housing Estate, Awka
  • Thursday, July 24, 2025 (4:00PM): Service of Songs at his residence, Abor Layout, Aguleri
  • Friday, July 25, 2025:
    • 7:00AM: Body arrives for lying-in-state at his residence
    • 11:00AM: Funeral service at Abor Layout, Ivite Aguleri
    • 1:00PM: Interment and commencement of condolence visits at his compound along Erico Guest House Road, Ivite Aguleri

He is survived by his wife, children, sisters, cousins, nephews, and extended family.

The family, in a statement signed by Barr. Isioma Daniel Iloakasia, described the loss as deeply painful, noting that Rolex lived a life of purpose, service, and integrity.

Rolex, may your gentle soul rest in peace. Amen.
