We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Lawyer
Location: Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company’s matters
Developing and leading corporate compliance programs
Overseeing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and priorities
Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state and federal governmental bodies, legislatures and the community at large.
Requirements
Minimum of LL.B Degree from a reputed University, with a minimum of second class upper. – LL.M Degree
10 years’ minimum experience of post-qualification to have worked in a corporate law firm.
Must be based in Port Harcourt
Must have an advanced understanding of company operations, commercial transactions, research and litigation.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact across to the board and management with confidence and authority.
Ability to deal with complex problems & ability in applying judgment and independent reasoning in situations where applicable precedence and laws may not exist.
