The Senate has postponed its planned resumption of plenary from today till tomorrow.

The Senate, on October 12, adjourned plenary to enable Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) defend their budget proposals in the N20.51 trillion 2023 Appropriation Bill.

A statement by the Clerk to the Senate, Chinedu Akubueze, said the Senate will now resume plenary on Wednesday. He did not give any reason for the postponement.

The statement reads: “This is to inform all distinguished senators that the resumption of plenary has been rescheduled from November 15 to November 16. All senators are by this notice requested to resume sitting in plenary on Wednesday, November 16, by 10am prompt, please.”
