The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) is pleased to announce an upcoming training program titled “Mediator’s Inner Strength: Developing Emotional Intelligence.”

This virtual event is scheduled for August 15th, 2024, from 10 am to 1 pm via Zoom.

The training program is designed to equip mediators with the essential skills of emotional intelligence, which are crucial for effective and efficient mediation practice. Participants will gain a deep understanding of how their behavior, thoughts, and beliefs can impact the parties involved in a mediation process. By developing emotional intelligence, mediators can become solution-driven, proactive, and pragmatic in their approach.

The course will be led by experienced trainers who will guide participants through the rudiments of emotional intelligence and its practical application in mediation. Attendees will learn how to manage time effectively and navigate the complexities of human psychology, ultimately enhancing their effectiveness and efficiency as mediators.

The registration fee for ICMC members is N20,000 (Twenty Thousand Naira only), while non-members can register for N35,000 (Thirty-Five Thousand Naira only). Interested individuals are encouraged to register early as spaces are limited.
