The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) is excited to announce its upcoming Direct Admission to Fellowship course.

This prestigious program is the Institute’s highest level of professional recognition, offering aspiring mediators and conciliators the opportunity to join the esteemed Fellowship cadre.
The Admission to Fellow Course is a four-day Advanced Mediation Skills Accreditation and Certification Course. Upon successful completion, candidates will be inducted as Fellows, qualifying to use the designation “FICMC” (Fellow, Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators) and have their names listed in the ICMC Directory of Fellows.
The course is open to a select group of individuals, including:
- Members of the ICMC who have maintained membership (MICMC) for a minimum of five (5) years.
- Serving and Retired High Court Judges, Khadis, and Judges of Customary Courts of Appeal.
- Executive Directors and Heads of Public and Private Establishments/Enterprises.
- Serving Civil Servants on GL15 (Assistant Director) or above.
- Holders of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), in any field.
- Holders of a Master’s Degree, in any field, obtained at least 5 years preceding the year of application.
- Holders of a Bachelor’s Degree, in any field, obtained at least fifteen years preceding the year of application.
- Legal practitioners with a minimum of 15 years post call practice experience.
The Direct Admission to Fellow Course is scheduled to take place from May 27th to 30th, 2024, from 9 am to 4 pm in Abuja. The course fee is N750,000 (Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) only.
