Professor Nkiru. J. Obumneme Okafor (Mrs) has emerged the newly elected Dean Faculty of Law, in Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University formerly known as the Anambra State University.

The Faculty on Tuesday being the 2nd day of October 2018 held it’s periodic deanship election.

The contest was between Prof P. E. O. Oguno (The Acting Dean) and Prof N.J.Obumneme Okafor (Mrs).

The keenly contested election saw Prof (Mrs) N. J. Obumneme Okafor winning the election with 20 votes against her contender who gathered 3 votes.

After the victory, the new dean of the faculty promised to discharge her duties to the best of her abilities, adding that she will be guided by the truth, equity, and fairness in doing that.
