When Prince Ned walked into the hall gracefully and with humility had a handshake with virtually everyone seated in the hall. He looked around the hall where he noticed lawyers in Asaba were having a meeting in his environment in an uncompleted edifice. In solidarity towards the advancement of the branch he surprisingly asked for the total cost for the completion of the NBA House which was with the speed of lightning given to him by the executives of the NBA.
Prince Ned Nwoko said he was humbled by the task before us which is the gubernatorial election and urged all lawyers, their families who are eligible to vote and friends to join in the movement for the return of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for continuity, stating the various achievements of the Governor which had never been done and if done, not as near perfect as this administration of the incumbent.

He said;
Delta Central governed the state for 8 years under Chief James Ibori (1999-2007), Delta south ruled for 8 years through Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan (2007-2015), Delta North has been in power for only 4 years through Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa who was elected in 2015. I believe like all fair minded Deltans that Okowa must be allowed to complete his second tenure to give Delta North 8 years of governance.
I stand with Okowa because he has proved a competent governor unprecedented in the history of democracy in the state.
He also told news men that he was grateful for the trust and support the Governor expects from us lawyers at this time being mindful of the sacrifices we have to make in promoting fairness and rule of law.
He further stated that;
lawyers are integral part of judiciary which is cardinal to the sustenance and survival of democracy in Nigeria. You have a role to play in ensuring peaceful political transition that would guarantee free, fair and credible elections.
