The Nigerian Police has reacted after a man posted an offensive tweet about Igbos living in the South West.

In a now deleted post, a Twitter user, Kehinde Adesoga Adekusibe with the handle @GideonAdekusibe incited hatred against Igbos by calling on his followers to kill Igbos in their region. Reacting, Twitter user, @IsraelAmadi1 called the attention of the police to the offensive tweet and wrote:


In reaction, another twitter user OKWUDIRI (Eluuu Peee) @IsraelAmadi1 tweeted

”Let me kukuma release his twit and his more details. If #nigeriaDSS can pick @chude__ why can’t they do same to him.”

”Like and RT until Security agencies do the needful”

Responding to Okwudiri’s tweet, Police spokes person Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi @Princemoye1 tweeted

I have forwarded this to the lagos state command for necessary action. Thanks.
