In Nigeria the driver of a vehicle is responsible for the children who are passengers in the vehicle and must ensure-
(a) the proper use of child locks;
(b) the proper use of child safety seats for children 7 years and below;
(c) that the child seats are not installed in the front row of the vehicle.
PENALTY
Fine of N5,000:00 or to a term of 6 months imprisonment or to both.
