The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) General Secretary, Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, has issued a notice to all members regarding the application process for obtaining the NBA stamp. In a statement released on Today, Dr. Ojibara emphasized that merely making online payments does not complete the application process.
According to the General Secretary, members must follow up their payments with a formal online application to ensure that their stamp requests are processed. He further clarified that until applicants receive a confirmation message from the NBA Bar Services stating, “Your Stamp application has been approved. You shall be duly notified by your branch as soon as it is delivered,” their applications have not been received for processing.
Dr. Ojibara urged members to upload their Branch Due Receipt and complete the necessary application steps after making the payment to avoid delays in the issuance of their NBA stamps. He also thanked the members for their cooperation in adhering to the proper application procedures.
The NBA stamp is an essential requirement for legal practitioners in Nigeria, serving as proof of their membership and authorization to practice law in the country.
The General Secretary’s notice serves as a reminder to all NBA members to diligently follow the established application process to obtain their stamps in a timely manner.
