Path Solicitors, a law firm based in Lagos and Abuja, commended the NBA Abuja Branch for the efficacy of its Lawyers Health Insurance Plan. The commendation was communicated in a letter dated 9th October, 2020 addressed to the Chairman of the Branch, Mr. Bulus Y. Atsen.

According to the letter, “one of our members of staff had cause to be operated upon for [an Appendicectomy] and the whole cost of the operation was borne by the scheme, we did not have to commit another dime to the whole process. This is truly a testament to the fact that this Scheme is so practical and effective.”
Commenting further, the Firm’s Practice Manager stated that all members of Staff in the Firm are fully signed to the Health Insurance Scheme. He also acknowledged and celebrated the industry put into making the Scheme a success.
The Lawyers Health Insurance Scheme which is entering its fourth year was initiated by former Chairmen of the NBA Abuja Branch, Mr. Ezenwa Anumnu and Mr. Folarin Aluko. More than 400 Lawyers and Dependents from across the country have benefited from the Scheme since its inception. Subscribers to the Scheme enjoy a wide range of medical services including consultation, prescriptions, admissions, antenatal, etc at no cost.
The Scheme runs from 1st January to 31st December each year and is open to lawyers and their Dependents.
