The family of Late Mr. and Mrs. Cosmas Emodi Onuoma of Ozuh-Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State has announced the passing of their beloved mother, Dr. (Mrs.) Lovenah Ikodiya Onuoma (nee Iroegbu). She passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 72.

Dr. Lovenah Ikodiya Onuoma was born on March 9, 1952, and lived a fulfilling life dedicated to her family and community. Her loss is deeply felt by her loved ones and all those whose lives she touched.

The family has released the funeral arrangements to honor her memory and celebrate her life. The events will commence with a Requiem Mass on April 23, 2024, at 5pm at the Blessed Sacrament Parish, Independence Layout, Enugu. This will be followed by a Wake Keep on April 25, 2024, at the compound of Late Chief P.U Onuoma (Eze Anaeche), opposite St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Ozuh-Omuma, Oru East LGA, Imo State.

The Burial Mass will take place on April 26, 2024, at 10am at St. Rose of Lima Parish, Ozuh-Omuma, Oru East LGA, Imo State, followed by the interment at the Onuoma Family Compound, opposite St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. A Thanksgiving Mass will be held on April 27, 2024, at St. Rose of Lima Parish, Ozuh-Omuma, Oru East LGA, Imo State.
