A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Elder Dr. Ogwu James Onoja has facilitated the construction of the largest Catholic sanctuary prayer ground in the North Central region of Nigeria.

The impressive edifice, located at Ogugu Center in Olamaboro Local Government, Kogi State, was built in loving memory of Onoja’s late father-in-law, Sir Emmanuel Negedu, KSM.

The sanctuary, which was dedicated by the Catholic Bishop of Idah Dioceses, Bishop Anthony Ademu Adaji (MSP), is set to become a spiritual hub for the Catholic community in Kogi East, particularly in Olamaboro Local Government. The completion of this magnificent structure marks a significant milestone for the church and serves as a testament to Onoja’s commitment to serving his creator with his resources and giving back to society.

Chief Elder Ogwu James Onoja, a renowned legal expert and respected member of society, has a long history of philanthropic efforts. His latest endeavor is a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back and building for the greater good. The sanctuary is expected to play a vital role in fostering spiritual growth and development among the faithful, serving as a beacon of hope, inspiration, and devotion.

As the Christmas celebrations commenced at Saint Theresa Catholic Church on Adum Road in Ogugu, Chief Elder Ogwu James Onoja and his family personally inspected the impressive sanctuary. The completion of this project not only ignited the Christmas celebration for the people of Olamaboro and Ogugu but also showcased Onoja’s unwavering dedication to his faith and community.
