In Nigeria, it is an offence for a person who is not a recipient of the National honours to use the designation or abbreviation GCFR, GCON, CFR, CON, OFR or OON in a way likely to represent him as a recipient.
PENALTY
Imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or a fine not exceeding N100 or both.
