The Council of Legal Education has announced the commencement of applications for admission into the Bar Part II Programme of the Nigerian Law School for the 2024/2025 academic session. Prospective candidates are advised to follow the application guidelines carefully to avoid disqualification or delays, according to information on its website.

How to Apply

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦30,000 via the Remita platform. To make the payment:

  1. Visit https://www.remita.net
  2. Select “COUNCIL OF LEGAL EDUCATION” as the biller.
  3. Ensure your surname is written first in capital letters, followed by your other names.
  4. Print the Remita receipt and follow further instructions on the Law School’s portal.

Important Notes:

  • All application fees must be paid to the Council of Legal Education, not to any Nigerian Law School campus.
  • Only candidates who are fully admitted will be eligible to pay school fees.
  • Applicants should obtain their password for the online application portal from the Dean of their Faculty of Law.

Uploading Passport Photographs

Passport photographs must meet the following criteria:

  • File size must not exceed 50KB
  • Format: JPG or PNG
  • Background: White
  • Attire: Black clothing only

Medical Form Requirement

All successful applicants are required to submit a duly completed medical form, including X-ray and other medical documents, prior to being allocated accommodation.
