The Nigerian Law School, under the leadership of Director-General Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, SAN, has confirmed the dates for various outstanding academic programs scheduled for 2024.

According to the announcement, the end of lectures and term vacation for the Backlog Set will take place from Friday, August 23rd to Friday, September 13th, 2024. The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference (AGC) is set to be held from Monday, August 26th to Wednesday, August 28th, 2024.

The commencement of the Court Externship for the Backlog Set is scheduled for Monday, September 16th, 2024. Meanwhile, the Regular Set will resume from their Externship and Portfolio Assessment from Monday, September 2nd to Friday, September 13th, 2024.

The Bar Part 1 program is set to resume at the Law School Headquarters on Monday, September 23rd, 2024. The Board of Examiners (BoE) meeting for Bar Part 2 (Resit) Results and the selection of questions for the November 2024 Bar Final Exams will be held on a date to be announced in September.

The Resit Call to the Bar ceremony will also take place on a date to be announced later.

Prof. Chiroma, through the announcement signed by S. A. Osamolu, has provided clarity on the timeline for the various academic activities at the Nigerian Law School in the latter part of 2024. This information will help students, faculty, and other stakeholders plan accordingly for the upcoming events.
