The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) President, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, has unveiled the theme and logo for the 2025 Annual General Conference (AGC) scheduled to be held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, from August 22nd to 30th, 2025.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Osigwe announced that the theme for the conference is “Stand Out, Stand Tall,” which he said reflects the collective aspiration to inspire legal professionals to excel, lead, and make a lasting impact in their careers and society.

“Today, I had the honor of unveiling the theme and logo for the 2025 Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference (NBA-AGC), with the theme, ‘Stand Out, Stand Tall,'” Osigwe stated. “The theme reflects our collective aspiration to inspire legal professionals to excel, lead, and make a lasting impact in our careers and society.”

The NBA President emphasized that the conference promises to be a monumental event in the legal calendar, bringing together some of the brightest minds and leaders in the profession. He also highlighted the extensive preparations being made to ensure that the conference is a resounding success for all lawyers.

“From structured conference fees to flexible payment timelines, we are committed to delivering an accessible, inclusive, and enriching experience for all conferees,” Osigwe said. He thanked the planning committee, led by Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, for their efforts in ensuring a seamless conference next year.

Osigwe called on legal professionals to rise to the challenge of standing out and standing tall, driving excellence, integrity, and progress in Nigeria and beyond.

He further announced that the Annual General Conference Planning Committee would be rolling out more details in the coming weeks, including the commencement of registration on December 1st, 2024, updates on sessions, speakers, and exciting innovations to make the 2025 NBA-AGC an unforgettable experience.

The 2025 NBA Annual General Conference is expected to attract a large number of legal professionals from across Nigeria and beyond, providing a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
