The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced a change in the time for its Annual General Meeting scheduled to hold on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

In a notice issued to members, the Association said the meeting, which was earlier scheduled to commence at 12:00 noon, will now begin at 1:00 p.m.

According to the notice, the venue remains the Main Hall, Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

“Kindly be informed that the time for the Annual General Meeting, earlier scheduled for 12:00pm, has been rescheduled,” the NBA stated.

“The meeting will now hold as follows: Date: Thursday, 27 August 2026; Time: 1:00 p.m.; Venue: Main Hall, Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.”

The Association also made the Annual General Meeting Report available to members ahead of the meeting.

The NBA also provided a virtual participation option for members who are unable to attend the meeting physically in Port Harcourt.

The Association urged members to participate in the meeting either physically or virtually.

“We look forward to your participation,” the notice stated.

The communication was signed by the NBA General Secretary, Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, FNIM, FCIArb. (UK).

The rescheduling affects only the commencement time, as the date and venue remain unchanged. The AGM will therefore hold at 1:00 p.m. today at the Main Hall, Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
