The Nigerian Bar Association President, Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN at the NEC meeting recently held at Enugu State appointed a new Council for the Nigerian Bar Association.

The new council will be led by Patience Etumudon as Chairperson.
The NBA-LWDF is a forum dedicated to promoting the rights and welfare of lawyers with disabilities in Nigeria. The newly constituted council comprises six members who will work together to advance the forum’s mission and objectives.
The council members are as follows:
1. Patience Etumudon – Chairperson
2. Sani Moyi – Alternate Chairman
3. Rex Erameh – Secretary
4. Florence Marcus – Member
5. Justice Christopher – Member
6. Arinze Mbanefo – Member
The NBA-LWDF Governing Council is expected to commence its activities after the inauguration ceremony by the President of the NBA. The Forum will focus on key areas such as advocacy, capacity building, and the promotion of inclusive policies within the legal profession.
