A new caucus within the Port Harcourt branch of the Nigerian Bar Association dubbed ‘Progressives’ will host a grand party to welcome the new legal year on Thursday, November 16.

The NBA Port Harcourt Progressives is made up of like-minded senior and junior lawyers determined to positively transform the branch’s administration.

According to sources, the group aims to engender an all-inclusive bar that progresses the welfare and interests of all members.

The New Legal Year Welcome Party is scheduled for 1pm at the popular Eddiz Wine Bar opposite Polo Club, GRA Phase 2.

TheProgressives have invited all members of the Port Harcourt branch, progressive-minded lawyers and friends to attend the event.

The group intends to use the party to officially unveil themselves and their vision to chart a new direction for the Bar branch.

Lawyers spoken to expressed optimism that the Progressives will inject fresh ideas and dynamism into NBA Port Harcourt branch.
