The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Oleh Branch, has successfully conducted its elections on the 28th of June, 2020

Information made available to TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL) shows that Mr. Theophilous Aniko emerged winner as chairman of the Branch.

Messrs Awodezi Henry (vice-chairman), Agbaragu Timothy (Secretary), Iluesure Obukehowo ( Social Secretary), and Mrs. Evi Esther Odhomo Godspower ( Welfare Secretary) were returned unopposed.

They were sworn in by Honourable Justice Cletus Emifoniye of Oleh High Court who charged them to hit the ground running by leveraging on the laudable achievements of their predecessors.

“I also congratulate those who are not going to be sworn in today but, participated in the electoral process. I congratulate them because it is their presence that made the election to be interesting.

I know in another two years there would be another opportunity for those who did not come on board this time to come in again. But once the interest is there it should not die down. Your passion for the Bar should not wane simply because for this term you are not able to come in”

The new Executives will run the affairs of the Branch for the next two years.
