The National Executive Council of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA-NEC), has approved July 20th 2024 for the general elections.

This is sequel to the presentation by the ECNBA Committee at the ongoing NEC meeting in Jos

ECNBA revealed at its National Executive Committee (NEC) presentation that the elections website has been built from scratch at www.ecnba.org to aid the process. The committee sent out a proposal for technical support and will soon issue notices including a preliminary notification and guidelines for aspirants.

Awareness campaigns through visitations across NBA’s zones are also planned to familiarize members with the elections. Additionally, the call for submission of nominations will open soon after the notices.

ECNBA has ramped up planning to conduct free, fair and credible NBA National Officers Elections on July 20th 2024 for positions including President, Vice Presidents, Treasurer, Financial Secretary and Publicity Secretary amongst others.
