The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Kaduna Branch has issued a statement refuting claims circulating on social media that the branch has endorsed a particular candidate for the upcoming NBA Presidential Election.

In a statement signed by the Chairman Godwin O Ochai and Senior Member of the branch, Muhammad Sani Katu, SAN, the NBA Kaduna Branch clarified that no statutory meeting had taken place where such a decision was discussed or made.
The branch unequivocally stated that it has not adopted any candidate for the NBA Presidential Election.
The statement urged members of the branch and the general public to disregard any purported adoption of a candidate by the NBA Kaduna Branch.
As the election draws near, the NBA Kaduna Branch has reaffirmed its commitment to a fair and transparent process, free from undue influence or premature endorsements of any candidate, including Tobenna Erojikwe, Chukwuka Ikwuazom, and Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe.
