The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), under the leadership of Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, has launched the issuance of digital Annual Practice Licenses for all legal practitioners who have duly paid their Annual Bar Practicing Fees for the year 2025.

In an official statement issued by Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, General Secretary of the NBA, lawyers were advised to verify and update their names on the NBA portal to ensure accuracy and avoid errors on their digital licenses.
The NBA also reminded members with pending name corrections or change-of-name issues to resolve them promptly with the Supreme Court, as the digital licenses will be generated using the names enrolled in the Supreme Court database.
Lawyers who have not received their digital licenses, or those with incorrect name arrangements, were urged to visit the NBA portal to obtain a corrected version.
Members are further encouraged to print, frame, and display their digital Practice Licenses in their offices as proof of their eligibility to practice law.
