The Idemili branch of the Nigerian Bar Association has issued a note of warning to the Commissioner of Police in Anambra State over an alleged unwarranted, unprovoked harassment and intimidation of His Lordship, Hon. Justice P.N.T Otti, by men of the Nigerian Police force (NPF). The warning was contained in a letter addressed to the Commissioner. According to the facts disclosed in the strong worded letter, the said embarrassment was alleged to have been perfected on the behest of one ACP Ekeocha in the morning hours of Tuesday, the 26th day of June, 2018 near Ugwunwasike Roundabout, Ogidi. TheNigerialawyer (TNL) gathered that His Lordship was harassed at a police check point when he ordered his driver to approach the security officers to grant his passage to go to court to attend to a pressing judicial assignment.
