*Olanrewaju Temitope Omotayo-Ojo, Ojo Anthony Bamidele, and Giwa Victor Vie for NBA Garki Branch Chairman Position

The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Garki Branch (Liberty Bar), has released the final results of the screening of eligible candidates for the 2024 Branch Elections.

According to the list, ten candidates have been cleared and deemed qualified to contest for various positions in the upcoming elections. The cleared candidates and their respective positions are as follows:

1. Olanrewaju Temitope Omotayo-Ojo (2009) – Branch Chairman
2. Ojo Anthony Bamidele (2009) – Branch Chairman
3. Giwa Victor (2009) – Branch Chairman
4. Hanna Ugbojoide Umaru (2014) – Branch Vice Chairman
5. Kanu Chibuikem Kem (2014) – Branch Secretary
6. Imo Ogechi Oleka Duruaku (Mrs) (2006) – Branch Secretary
7. Chidiebere Chima Onyechere (2021) – Branch Assistant Secretary
8. Damilola Victoria Alabi (2017) – Branch Publicity Secretary
9. Rosemary Ogechi Ogazi (2015) – Branch Welfare Secretary
10. Love Ozioma Obiezu (2015) – Branch Treasurer

However, the positions of Financial Secretary, Social Secretary, and Provost remain vacant as no expression of interest was indicated for these roles.

The screening process was conducted by the Electoral Committee, chaired by Victor C. Orizu and Michika Rosemary Usa serving as the Secretary.

The NBA Garki Branch encourages all eligible members to participate actively in the upcoming elections and contribute to the growth and development of the branch.
