The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Garki Branch has celebrated the remarkable accomplishment of its former Chairman, Mr. Bulus Yohanna Atsen, fsi, who graduated today from the prestigious National Institute for Security Studies (NISS) and was formally inducted as a Fellow of the Security Institute (fsi).

The graduation ceremony, held at the NISS campus in Bwari, Abuja, was a high-profile event graced by top dignitaries, including the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Vice President, the Attorney General of the Federation, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, mni. Other notable attendees included the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; ministers, ambassadors, traditional rulers, and senior members of Nigeria’s armed forces and security agencies.
Prominent members of the legal community, including former NBA President Mr. Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN, and key representatives from the NBA Garki Branch, attended to honor Mr. Atsen. Among them were the Branch Chairman, Mr. Anthony Bamidele Ojo; Publicity Secretary, Damilola Alabi; and former Chairman, Mr. Folarinwa Aluko. Other members, including Dooshima Hila and Jemima Musa, were also present to celebrate this milestone.
Mr. Atsen, a seasoned legal practitioner and Principal Partner at Atsen Attorneys, represented the legal profession with distinction throughout the NISS program. This year’s cohort comprised leaders from various sectors, underscoring the Institute’s reputation for fostering excellence in national security and leadership.
