*Urges Lawyers To Take Advantage

The Nigerian Bar Association Employment Bureau Chaired by Sir Steve Adehi, SAN, FCIArb [U.K] has notifies lawyers across the country that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has extended the deadline for its recruitment application to Monday, 17th of April, 2023.

According to a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer by the Bureau, the extension was approved by the Agency’s Chairman, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa.

The statement reads in part, “The Nigerian Bar Association still in the interest and welfare of her members therefore calls on and urges all interested members of the Association who have applied from across the [127] branches to send the under-listed details/documents to the Employment Bureau in a bid to facilitate an (on-merit) shortlisting process –

3. Evidence of payment of 2023 Bar Practice Fees [BPF]

All details and documents should be sent via email with the subject “National Drug Law Enforcement Agency [NDLEA] 2023 Recruitment – N.B.A President’s Intervention” to the NBA Employment Bureau through the Vice Chairman, Salman A. The deadline for submission is Friday, 21st April 2023.”

The statement further notes that the aforementioned intervention is not a guarantee of a Job placement, but an effort to facilitate an on-merit shortlisting process. All eligible member applicants must be ably qualified, must go through the entire recruitment process as only successful candidates will be considered for the relevant positions.
